Heroes' Journey - THE BIG ONE

This August 14 at 8PM, a movie will premiere in New York featuring . . . .YOU!

If you want, that is. It'll be the premiere of a short but large movie called HEROES JOURNEY, the story of . . . well, the story of a movie with a whole lot of people in it. I'll be recruiting and even filming people from all over the place, including audiences and filmmaking teams at the 48 Hour Film projects that I attend, than somehow mash them all into a single, unbelieveable film. And the screening will be unbelieveable! I'm still working out the details, but keep watching this blog for developments.

Who's doing this and why?

Bill Dyszel
The most unique and prolific filmmaker in the 48-Hour Film Project, Bill Dyszel has now completed 12 films in 7 different cities for this international film event and he’s made them all entirely by himself. He singlehandedly writes, acts, shoots, composes, arranges, edits and delivers every film on time every time, often in competition with teams boasting up to 50 members from television networks and professional film companies. To top that, he turns every film into a musical which he performs in song from start to finish. This blog will tell about those experiences, as well as his activities as a member of Quickflicks/Group 101 NYC, a once-a-month filmmakers collective. He'll also offer some how-to tips for fast filmmakers everywhere along with some articles from his book on instant moviemaking.
